Why raise perch?
Perch have always been a favourite food here in Cornwall but with our local waters being polluted, there are restrictions on how much you can eat. Chemicals of concern are PCB, Mirex and Dioxin. Local supplier here in Cornwall supply perch for $14/lbs. By hand raising fish, I get to avoid these problems.
